We offer a wide range of services including comprehensive hearing evaluations, tinnitus assessments, hearing aid fittings, and much more! No matter your need, we can help you.
Services We Provide:
Hearing Evaluations
We provide comprehensive hearing evaluations for adults. A hearing evaluation will allow us to discover the type and degree of hearing loss you may have. As part of the hearing exam, we will perform a pure tone audiometry test, diagnostic evaluation, speech recognition test, and bone conduction test. These tests allow us to see the whole picture of your hearing so we can offer the best solution.
Tinnitus Evaluation
Tinnitus, commonly known as “ringing in the ears,” affects millions of Americans. We offer loudness level testing which plays back the common sounds of tinnitus so we can help you identify the exact sound you are hearing. Although there is no one treatment for tinnitus, we do offer hearing aids that have a masking feature that can alleviate your symptoms. We will offer tinnitus education and counseling so you can learn how to ignore the ringing in your ears.
Otoscopic Evaluation
Using an otoscope, we will look inside your ears for any signs of ear infection or earwax build-up. We will do a video otoscopy test which shows you the inside of your ear on-screen. Ensuring the inside of your ear canal is healthy is important before we can continue with the hearing evaluation.
Hearing Aid Consultations
We believe in educating our patients about their hearing loss and hearing aid options. When you come to Active Ear, we will go over your individual type of hearing loss and recommend some hearing aids that will help you hear better. When recommending hearing aids, we will go over your hearing needs and lifestyle to determine what will best fit you. We also offer financing options, if necessary.

Hearing Aid Cleaning
We will inspect and clean hearing aid microphones, receivers, and components for you. We also change the tubing on custom earmolds and encourage our patients to bring their hearing aids in regularly so we can verify that they are properly working

Hearing Aid Repair
We can repair hearing aids from any of the leading manufacturers. Even if you received your hearing aids from somewhere else, we can still program and repair them for you. For minor repairs we can service your hearing aids in-office, so you don’t have to go without your hearing. For more serious repairs we can send them to the manufacturer for you.

Custom Ear Protection and Earmolds
At Active Ear, we make custom earmolds that are fit to your unique ear shape for behind-the-ear hearing aids. We can also make custom earmolds for hearing protection, pilot earphones, and physician stethoscope molds. Call our office to learn more about custom earmolds and how they will offer you the perfect fit.

Custom Ear Protection and Earmolds
Our practice is now taking appointments through the EarQ Virtual Office. This tool allows you to take a hearing screening, explore different hearing aids, and chat with one of our providers about your options. You don’t need any special equipment. We will simply email you a link to your appointment and meet with you via video call.
